CIAA nabs court staff while taking bribetext size increase   text size decrease   Print    rss (२०७४ भाद्र २५, आइतवार)

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has on Sunday arrested Surya Prakash Pariyar, a tameldar (runner) at the Kathmandu District Court, red-handed, while taking Rs 35 thousand in bribe.

CIAA spokesman Jeev Raj Koirala said a team from the commission nabbed Pariyar from Budhanilkantha, acting on a complaint and an application that he had been asking for bribe from a service-seeker under various pretext for the purpose of serving a court notice.

The CIAA stated further investigation is on in this connection. RSS
