Bomb went off targeting chair Dahal mass meetingtext size increase   text size decrease   Print    rss (२०७४ म‌सिर १६, शनिवार)

A bomb went off targeting the mass meeting addressed by CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at Pakadi of Mayadevi Rural Municipality in Kapilbastu district today.


A huge blast occurred immediately after the Maoist Centre Chairman completed his address to the mass meeting this afternoon organized by the left alliance. The blast was some 100 meters away from the stage of the mass meeting.

Police said that no human casualty has been reported in the incident. After the blast, the people panicked and ran away from the venue. 
On Friday, three bombs had blasted in the district.

Meanwhile, Chief District Officer of Kapilbastu Madan Bhujel said that the security personnel are deployed in an intensive manner to conduct the polls in a fearless manner. (RSS)
