CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has said that the constitution amendment proposal to be introduced by the government will not be unacceptable to his party.

Speaking at a press meet organized in Birgunj by Press Chautari Nepal here today, he said the proposal has also lost its significance with the Madhesi morcha leaders too rejecting it.

The people of the Madhesh do not have any problem with the new constitution, its only the Madhesh-based parties and their cadres, he added.

Implementation of the constitution is more important and for this unity among the major three political parties is a must, leader Khanal said.

Meanwhile, leader Khanal and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal Chair Upendra Yadav jointly inaugurated the third day of Yoga camp ongoing at Adarshanangar stadium of Birgunj.

The camp is hosted by the Patanjali Yogpeeth Nepal. More than eight thousand people are taking part in the camp led by Yoga guru Swami Ramdev of India. RSS
