The CPN-UML has adjourned its ongoing Mechi-Mahakali campaign for three days after the death of  a UDMF cadre's death.

An emergency meeting of the Standing Committee meeting of the UML held in Sapatari district has decided to this effect after the UDMF cadre died in the clash with police, said Surya Thapa, deputy chief  of the UML Publicity Department told .
The meeting has adjounred the campaign concluding that incident took place after an anti-Mechi-Mahakali element infiltrated the function to foil the campaign.

Meanwhile, the UDMF has announced a three day-bandh in protest of the death of its cadre.
