The Zone designated under the project implemented under the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Programme witnessed the heavy loss after 700 metric tonnes of fish were washed away in the flood.

Chief of Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project Unit Bara, Yugal Kishor Tiwari said that the fish ponds spread in 700 hectares of land were damaged leading to such huge loss.

Likewise, the task of pond preparation in and around Simraungadh, Kachorba, Bhagawanpur, Biloni, Petpari and surrounding areas was affected due to the heavy flood.
