Kathmandu, Nepal – A meeting of top three political parties and Madhesi Morcha held today ended inconclusively after the top leaders failed to yield fruits on state-restructuring and form of governance.
Talking briefly after the meeting, Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ however said that the parties will forge consensus by this evening as intensive discussions were underway among the leaders.
Dahal said, “We are holding serious discussions. We will reach consensus till this evening.”
Leader of CPN (UML) Bhim Rawal said the next meeting will held on 2 pm this afternoon to resolve the issues as leaders were divided on state-restructuring though they were expected to make common voice.
It is learnt that the top leaders are divided over number of provinces and bases of provinces, either capability or identity.
In today’s meeting slight discussion was also held regarding the formation of national unity government. RSS
