KATHMANDU, NEPAL – The government has formally provided martyrdom to the four victims of Janakpur bomb blast. Along with that the cabinet meeting held on Thursday has decided to provide Rs one million to each of the victim’s families.
The meeting also promoted Prakash Bogati to Brigadier General and Nirman Singh Gurung to Colonel of Nepal Army.
Similarly, the meeting decided to appoint DIG Krishna Bahadur Tamang of APF to the post of AIG. Dr. Tara Nath Pokhrel and Dr. Guna Raj Lohani of Health Ministry have also been promoted to the 11th position.
Likewise, the meeting decided to extend the pension period of Postie Dhan Bahadur Rai, killed during government service, by four years, two months and 23 days. Similarly, the time period of probe committee, formed to look into the murder of Chedi Yadav at Laxminiya of Siraha district, has been increased by one more month.
The Trauma Center, build with the Indian assistance, will be operated as Central Health Organisation and a Non-Residential Board under the Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission has also been formed.
Similarly, the meeting also decided to impose custom duty of Rs. 2300 per 10 grams of gold and table the Employment Guarantee Act 2051 in the Legislature Parliament. RSS
