Maoist on the verge of split, by eveing today

KATHMANDU – Trampling aside intense efforts of the party leadership to keep the party intact, the dissident faction of the Maoist is making final preparations to split away.

So far the faction has been acting as an internal opposition within the party and has on occasions claimed that they have split from the party ideologically.

However the split now will be on practical basis claimed a source in the know how about the recent developments in the faction.

The faction has made full preparations to split the parliamentary party of the party. As per the exsiting provisions of the Legislative Parliament, a faction can open a new party if it has the support of forty percent of the party lawmakers.

Presently the Baidya faction was written support of 90 lawmakers claimed the source. The faction is in preparations to split the party on Friday, if the party leadership does not comes up with clear cut stand on ethnic federalism. RSS
