Kamal Thapa welcomes election declaration

KATHMANDU – Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-Nepal) Kamal Thapa has accused the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha of betraying the people by trampling upon the procedures and processes of constitution making.

At a press meet organized at Baluwatar by the RPP- Nepal Central Office, Thapa said his party deplores the grave crime of the parties who compelled the historic Constituent Assembly (CA) to die.

Thapa said the CA was dissolved due to inaction and greed of power of major political parties and welcomed the government declaration for fresh election.

He also called for an impartial and fearless election government as the moral base and legality of the Baburam Bhattarai government had been ended.

Thapa was of the view that a greater political consensus should be made between constitutional and political forces as a situation of constitutional vacuum had been created. RSS
