KATHMANDU – Senior Vice Chairman of UCPN Maoist, Mohan Baidya has denied to accept the unity proposal rolled out by Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal.
A Standing Committee meeting of the members associated with Baidya on Wednesday rejected the proposal claiming that the proposal did not mention any plans on regretting and correcting the past mistakes made by the leadership.
Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Baidya said that the proposal has not even touched upon the rifts within the party.
Stating that the proposal has remained silent on the demands and issues raised by them, the faction concluded that they could sit for talks on the basis of the chairman’s proposal. RSS
