He claimed that they were forced to split as their former party was filled with opportunists and lead by nee-revisionists that sacrificed the people’s aspirations for personal benefits.
Accusing the party leadership of ‘sacrificing’ the aspirations of the Maoist People Liberation Army (PLA), Baidya said that the move of disarming the PLAs reflected the limit of opportunism within the leadership.
Baidya claimed that his party will move towards the wellbeing of people preserving the gains such as Republic, Federalism and Secularism and said it was ready to cooperate with other similar minded forces. However he denied to bargain any of their ideals to form an alliance.
Baidya also urged the revolutionary forces from the party establishment to join the newly formed party. He also claimed that the newly formed party will be no less than the mother party and will move ahead in a parallel manner.
However the party has not ruled out the possibility for talks with the party establishment if they transform as per their aspirations. RSS
