Peter W Bodde new US ambassador to Nepal

KATHMANDU – US President Barack Obama nominated new US ambassador to Nepal, Peter W Bodde  has been endorsed by the US senate. Bodde will be taking over the responsibilities from the outgoing US envoy Scott H DeLisi
Currently Bodde is Assistant Chief of Mission for Assistance Transition in Iraq and Coordinator for Minority Issues at the US Embassy in Baghdad.


A career foreign senior service diplomat, Bodde had earlier served in various capacities in India, Nepal and was the Deputy US Ambassador to Pakistan from 2006 to 2008.
