KATHMANDU – Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar held talks on the contemporary political situation of the country on Monday.
During the meeting held at the residence of Maoist Chairman Dahal, the leaders stressed on settling the present political transition through national consensus.
It is learnt that they also discussed whether it was possible to hold the Constituent Assembly (CA) election on November 22 or hold discussion with other political parties to announce the next date for the CA election by forging consensus among them.
There was no alternative to political consensus to resolve the political and constitutional transition in the country, said DPM Gachchhadar while emerging from the meeting.
He added that they had discussed for the solution to present transition and stressed on the need of resolving it through political consensus. RSS
