KATHMANDU – The Supreme Court on Sunday quashed a writ petition demanding a stopper on the government’s move to bring full budget.
A bench of the court comprising of Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma and Ram Kumar Shah said that the government could bring the budget without forging national consensus.
The petition had urged the court to issue a stay order on the government’s move to bring full without forging national consensus.
The court denied to accept the petition claiming that the term ‘political consensus’ was vague and abstract.
With the verdict, the court has removed legal barriers for the government to introduce full budget. RSS
