At a programme organized in the capital on Sunday, Minister Rayamajhi said, “It is natural opposition parties demand resignation from street. But the government does not step down on this. If the demand is for the national consensus government, they should come up for dialogue with alternative.”
Rather, he accused the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML of taking the country a hostage of indecision.
Minister Rayamajhi claimed that the government would bring complete budget.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress central member Dr Ram Sharan Mahat demanded the government to immediately step down for the formation of all-party government.
Vice-Chairperson of the CPN-UML Bidya Devi Bhandari said her party would propose leader KP Oli for the next prime minister. There was no alternative to forge national consensus at the time the constituent assembly has already been dissolved.
Moreover, CPN-Maoist Secretary Dev Gurung said roundtable conference was essential to forge consensus among political parties because both new election and restoration of the constituent assembly were impossible at present. RSS
