NSU launches drive against colleges bearing foriegn names

KATHMANDU – Nepal Student Union (NSU), the student wing of Nepali Congress, removed hoarding boards of colleges and higher secondary schools bearing non-Nepali names.

The organization started the drive from Saturday morning and has warned that it would padlock the colleges if they failed to heed the education to oblige with Education Act.

Activist pulled down hoarding boards of around five colleges in the New Baneshwor area.

The organization had earlier submitted a memorandum with an ultimatum till today to the Ministry of Education, Higher Secondary Schools
