KATHMANDU – United CPN Maoist Chief Puspa Kamal Dahal and CPN Maoist Chief Mohan Baidya have agreed to form a joint task force to study the distribution of assets held by UCPN Maoist.
The decision comes at a time when cadres of both parties across the country have been fighting against each other to claim ownership of party offices and other physical assets.
This is the first meeting between these leaders after Baidya splitter from UCPN Maoist and formed his own party.
Sources near Prachanda informed that he expressed discontent over the split with Baidya.
The meeting was also attended by UCPN Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara and CPN Maoist leader Dev Prasad Gurung.
