Badal calls for all-party round table talk to resolve status quo

KATHMANDU – General Secretary of the CPN-Maoist, Ram Bahadur Thapa, has said that solution to the existing political crisis should be sought only from an all-party round table conference.

At a press meet organized by the Federation of Revolutionary Journalists and the CPN (Maoist) Awadh State Committee in Butwal today, Thapa blamed that big political parties invited this crisis by dissolving the Constituent Assembly (CA).

Stating that the political outlet could not be made until the present government continues, he said that now an outlet should be given from street agitation, as parties, which are in the government, have a mentality not to step down rather than forge consensus, though talks are going on for the resolution of the political crisis.

Thapa clarified that his party was ready to forge consensus on any alternative
