श्रावण १९ गते, २०६९ मा प्रकाशितKATHMANDU – The District Court, Bhaktapur has announced lifetime imprisonment with confiscation of all property on three persons found guilty of murder.
The three murdered Bishwaram Thapa ‘Bishal’, 22, of Chhaling VDC-2 in Bhaktapur district on September 12, 2011 for a sum of just Rs 11,000. The murderers convicted are Gokarna Thapa, Dipak Thapa and Kumar Pahari of Chhaling-1.
Legal practitioner Kiran Thapa said that a bench of District Judge Ram Prasad Oli handed down the verdict on Wednesday and sent them to Dillibazaar jail.
Police had filed a case against the murderers after recovering the body of the victim buried underground.
Bishal was murdered by his friends as he was about to leave home for shopping with Rs 11,000. RSS
