KATHMANDU – UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the President rejecting the ordinance sent by the government for specific purpose is inappropriate.

“Demanding the resignation of the prime minister of the caretaker government before settling the contentious issues holds no meaning,” said Dahal.
The formation of the republican alliance is aimed at bringing the political parties together and giving a way out to the country from existing crisis by forging consensus and urged other parties not to fear from the formation of the alliance.
Expressing the confidence that the newly formed alliance would help narrow down the gap among the political parties and forge a fresh agreement, he said its breakaway party CPN-Maoist would join the alliance sooner or later.
