KATHMANDU – UCPN Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal has said that a national consensus government can be formed in the leadership of Nepali Congress through political consensus.
Speaking to journalists in Nepalgunj on Monday, Dahal said that Congress should to come to talks and resolve all contentions seen in the new constitution and peace process.
In a different note, Dahal said that the President does not have the right to oust Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai without political consensus and said that the Federal Democratic Alliance will never approve such Presidential action.
While conceding that the Bhattarai led government had not been able to meet the aspirations of the common people and failed largely to create conducive environment for political consensus, he said that the party will not call back Bhattarai unless parties agree on the future course.
