KATHMANDU – Police have confiscated two tiger hides and body parts from Shera of Dasarath Chand Municipality -13 in Baitadi district.
An unknown person had left the bag and ran away when he saw the police patrol from Shera Police Post.
District Police Office Inspector Lal Bahadur Saud said the items have been sent to the District Forest Office.
The place is five kms away from Jhulaghat of the border. Police have taken stringent measures after they were informed of tiger parts smuggling from the point.
Jhulaghat entry point is the main entry point from India for Baitadi, Bajhang, Bajura and Dadeldhura district people of Nepal. RSS
