Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that he would not resign from his post till the guarantee of promulgating a new constitution.
Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai, who spent a night at Dalit settlement in Fulkaha-6, Manarawa of Mahottari district on Saturday, made the remark while interacting with Musahar Dalit people this morning.
He made it clear that he would not unseat till there was promulgation of a new constitution guaranteeing the rights of people who have been exploited and deprived of opportunities for a long.
‘I would immediately resign from the post on condition that the political parties should forge consensus for the promulgation of a new constitution’, he added.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai inaugurated Gaushala Multiple Campus based in Gaushala this morning.
It is learnt that the Prime Minister held interaction with locals of Aurahi on the premises of Aurahi higher secondary level today.
Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai is scheduled to return Kathmandu this afternoon.
