Two pedestrians were killed after a microbus knocked them down this morning.The victims are Machhindra Maharjan and Prakash Maharjan of Kirtipur. One businessman who was injured in the incident is undergoing treatment at the Star Hospital in Sanepa, police said.
The speeding microbus had hit them at 4:30 a.m. at Khasi Bazaar in Kirtipur today. Police have arrested Jujubhai Maharjan, the owner of the microbus. Relatives of the victims and locals have obstructed the road in protest against the killings.
