कार्तिक २७ गते, २०६९ मा प्रकाशितA rally was organized at Damak in Jhapa district today calling for sustainable peace in the country. The rally was organized at the call of Damak Town Coordination Committee of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) and a warning assembly was also oraginised after the rally.
Alerting that political uncertainty would harm social harmony in the country, participants in the rally went through the bazaar carrying different placards and banners.
Participating in the rally were representatives of different political parties, organizations, clubs, entrepreneurs and general public.
Speakers at the assembly organized at Ganatantra Chowk stressed that religious tolerance and mutual harmony are the identity of the Nepalese.
