मंसिर ९ गते, २०६९ मा प्रकाशितMore than 370 Indians are languishing in various prisons in Nepal , recent data from India’s Ministry of External Affairs show.
In a written reply to the upper house of parliament Rajya Sabha this week, Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khursid informed that 377 Indian citizens are in Nepal i jail s.
The offences for which they are doing time are not specified. However, Khursid mentioned that 6,293 Indians are currently in jail s of more than two dozen countries, including Nepal , for drug trafficking, theft, murder, economic offences, violation of employment contracts, overstay and illegal entry, among other offences.
