KASKI, DEC 28 – Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has said that he will not tender his resignation under pressure from outside. He said he will step down only if political parties strike a deal.
Laying a foundation stone of 25 Megawatt Upper Madi Power Project at Sindujare VDC in Kaski on Friday morning, PM Bhattarai claimed that he was not a hindrance to consensus.
“Parties have been fighting for power, no consensus has been forged in any issues so far,” Bhattarai said.
He also claimed that the accusations made against him were cent percent wrong.
He claimed that he was committed to the mission of peace, constitution, consensus and prosperity.
Also on the occasion, PM Bhattarai said the government was committed to invest in development programmes and urged the investors to invest without any terror.
