Deepak Manange sent to jail after failing to post bail

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 20 – The Special court has demanded bail amount of Rs. 29 million from gangster Deepak Manange, arrested on charge of accumulating illegal properties via criminal activities. 
Chairman of Special Court Kedar Prasad Chalise and Secretary duo Bhupendra Rai and Komal Raman Bhattarai gave the order to this effect. Manange was sent to jail after failing to post the bail immediately. 
However, his wife Dolma has been released after posting a bail amount of Rs.250 thousand. The Department of Money Laundering had filed cases against five gangsters including Deepak Manange at Special Court. 
Abhishek Giri is the only one left to be arrested among the gangsters against whom the department had filed the cases.
