Congress President stresses the need for party to go for elections unitedly

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 28 – Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has claimed that his party would emerge as the largest party in the upcoming C.A election if it went for it maintaining unity as opposed to feuding withing the party for election tickets.
At a program organized in the capital today on the occasion of the 18th memorial day of Nepal Women’s association Late Mangala Devi Singh, Koiral said UCPN-Maoist would reign supreme for the next 3 decades or so if Congress didn’t unitedly go for election.

On the occasion he urged cadres of the Women’s association to get mobilized in villages for election instead of only demanding increment of quotas for candidacy.
Speaking at the program, Congress General secretary Prakash Man Singh stated that Congress would ensure 33 percent women candidacy in the upcoming polls based on their capabilities to run election constituencies.
Likewise Congress leader Narahari Acharya opined that the election would be made inclusive by setting as many quotas for women as possible.
