Freed Kamaiyas at local Surya Patuwa VDC have alleged that Jit Bahadur Tharu and Gyan Bahadur Tharu of Rajwara village cheated them promising them land ownership certificates.
It has been revealed that they had taken Rs. 2,000 from each freed Kamaiyas in the name of providing new land ownership certificates.
The freed Kamaiyas demanded action against them blaming that Jit Bahadur and Gyan Bahadur extorted money saying a new land ownership certificate should be made as the previous certificate was fake.
The incident came to light in course of mobilization and monitoring of Nepal Freed Kamaiya Education and Poverty Alleviation Programme Monitoring Operation Committee.
The accused admitted that they extorted the money in the name of making new land ownership certificate. RSS
