Normal life in Solukhumbu district’s headquarters, Salleri, has been affected for disruption of power supply for the past 10 days.
Salleri has been without electricity after the Salleri Chyalsa Hydro Company halts the service for the purpose of scaling up the capacity.
The electricity service provider company shuts the power supply since March 29 in course of power increase. The company has given final touch to its works to increase additional 200 KW power to its existing capacity of 400 KW.
Though the company informed the public to close down power supply till April 14m it may take more days to get everything smooth for resuming electricity services, said Hari Shanker Adhikari, General Manager at the Company.
With the power increase the folks of Salleri will not be be facing load-shedding burden for at a couple of years. SETOPATI
