8th June 2014 – One person was killed while another has gone missing when a house was washed away by landslide in Kolti VDC of Bajura district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Gore Rokaya,58, of ward no. 8 in the VDC while 45-year-old Kar Budha of Kolti-2 is reported to be missing.
Budha’s five-year-old son Dinesh and eight-year-old daughter Bimala were rescued by Nepali Army.
Meanwhile, incessant rain followed by landslides has completely damaged the Primary Health Post in Kolit while sweeping away 13 shops, police said.
A team of Nepali Army, Nepal Police and Red Cross have left from the district headquarters Martadi to the incident site for necessary rescue and relief operation, it is learnt. SETOPATI
