The Inclusive Support Project has been started in seven districts in the east with a view to resolving problems for marketing of milk, tea and ginger. The project would also support for commercial production of the milk, tea, and ginger.
The project has been launched in Ilam, Dhankuta, Terathum, Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha districts since January, said Rudra Baral, Ilam District Chief of the Project.
The Project run with the support of Danish Government with an investment of seven billion rupees would run with its head office at Dhankuta and work for five years in the eastern hilly districts, he added.
Baral said the project is expected to help ensure farmers’ excess to the market and develop infrastructure for commercial production of milk, tea, and ginger. SETOPATI
