SAARC Summit formally concludes

 The closing session of the 18th SAARC Summit has formally concluded on Thursday evening with a deal on enegry cooperation.  
 
The Summit however failed to reach an agreement on the road and rail networks connecting SAARC countries. 
 
The closing session of the 2-day Summit began shortly after 4:00 pm today after which the SAARC Chairman and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala announced the beginning of the closed session of the Summit. 
 
The session fixed the country and the date for the 19th SAARC Summit to be Pakistan. 
PM Koirala delivered a concluding speech, followed by vote of thanks from Nawaz Sarif ,head of the Government of Pakistan.
PM Koirala then formally announced the closing of the 18th SAARC Summit. SETOPATI
