The ruling parties – Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (UML) – have decided to continue the Constituent Assembly (CA) process to prepare questionnaire on the disputed issues of the ongoing constitution writing process.
The meeting of the parties held at the Prime Minsiter’s official residence in Baluwatar on Friday morning decided to proceed with the CA process along with putting maximum efforts on building consensus with opposition parties, NC leader Purna Bahadur Khadka said.
Meanwhile, today’s meeting also called on the opposition alliance led by UCPN (Maoist) to sit for talks. Khadka said that the party leaders also decided to show maximum flexibility to end the political deadlock. SETOPATI
