The Proposal Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly (CA) on Monday submitted a total of 232 questions on the disputed issues of the ongoing constitution writing process to the CA chair Subash Chandra Nembang.
Chairman of the Committee Kul Bahadur Gurung submitted the questionnaire to Nembang after finalizing it in the Committee’s meeting held today at Singh Durbar.
The Committee prepared 192 main questions and 40 sub-questions, said Committee member Agni Kharel.
The questionnaire are expected to be put for vote in the CA after presenting it in the meeting scheduled for February 12. The questions that will be resolved through the vote will then be sent to the constitution drafting committee.
Accepting the questionnaire, Nembang said that there is no option but to proceed with the CA process as the political parties did not show any sign of coming together for talks even though they had 18 days for the same. SETOPATI
