Nepal National Dalit Social Welfare Association of Mahottari distributed scholarships to 121 Dalit girl students on Saturday as part of the organization’s Nepal Scholarship Programme.
The Association organized a program to provide financial aid to the girls from nine schools of the district.
Constituent Assembly member Ram Dayal Mandal handed over the assistance to the students ranging from the school to university level, said program coordinator Prem Jairu.
The scholarship amount ranges from Rs 1,200 to Rs 6,000. Poor and diligent students were prioritized for the incentive. RSS
