The CPN-Maoist student wing, All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary has objected to the recent decision of the private and boarding schools to increase the tuition fees by 43 per cent from the coming session.
Issuing a press release today, the Union chair Suresh Gautam announced a series of protest programs. It objected to the District Education Office’s (DEO) permission allowing fee hike.
The protests include padlocking the accounts and administration sections of selected schools today, organizing two-hour sit-in in front of the DEO on Wednesday and sit-in protest at the Department of Education on Thursday. RSS
