The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) said that a total of 20,054 persons holding public posts have not furnished their property details for the fiscal year 2070/71 BS.
Citing the reports from the National Vigilance Centre and Department of Civil Personnel Records, the anti-graft body said on Sunday that it will soon write to the concerned ministries and bodies to furnish property details and take action against those who fail to submit details of their properties, and send the reports to the CIAA.
According to the CIAA Act 2048, government employees are obliged to submit their and their family members’ property details within the first 60 days of the every fiscal year. RSS
