Prime Minister Sushil Koirala said today that the government is planning to organize an international donor conference soon with an aim to appeal the international community to provide fund to the National Reconstruction Fund.
The PM announced the decision in his address to the legislature-parliament this afternoon.
Likewise, the PM said in his speech that the government had already issued directive to the Nepali delegations across the world to augment efforts to seek foreign aid.
Earlier this week, the government took a decision to set up a National Reconstruction Fund to rebuild the physical infrastructures damaged by the April 25 earthquake. Government has already deposited Rs 20 billion as a start-up money in the Rs 200 billion fund. SETOPATI
