A total of 33,016 suggestions were collected on the preliminary draft of the new constitution from different individuals and organizations in and outside Nepal until Tuesday midnight.
According to the Constituent Assembly Secretariat, a total of 20,722 suggestions were collected through website and 8,800 through email.
Similarly, 2,471 suggestions were received from toll-free numbers, 1,080 from fax. A total of 243 suggestions were submitted directly to the Secretariat. The Secretariat had set Tuesday midnight as the deadline to submit feedback on the draft.
Lawmakers were deployed in 240 constituencies across the country to collect feedback from the people. RSS
