A total of 48 tankers and vehicles carrying petroleum products entered Nepal through Rupaidiha Customs point on Sunday.
31 tankers carrying diesel, 11 bullets of LPG gas and 6 tankers carrying aviation fuel crossed the border into Nepal.
All the carriers transporting petroleum products that had stranded on the Indian side of the border after India imposed unofficial blockade on Nepal have entered Nepal today, according to regional office of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) in Nepalgunj.
Meanwhile, 25 tankers have left for refilling at the depot of the Indian Oil Corporation in Gonda of India. They are expected to enter Nepal by Monday evening, NOC chief of regional office in Nepalgunj Shree Chand Shrestha said.
