The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has underlined his growing concern at the obstruction of essential supplies at the Nepal-India border.
A statement released by the Spokesperson of UN chief on Friday stresses on Nepal’s right to free transit and calls on all sides to lift the restrictions immediately.
“He is alarmed by reports of the obstruction, and destruction, of life-saving medical supplies and the continued impact on humanitarian operations,” reads the statement. “He calls on all sides to lift these restrictions without further delay and underlines Nepal
