Chaudhary Foundation of Chaudhary Group (CG) has handed over ‘Transitional Home’ to 139 quake victims of Mahadevsthan VDC in Kavrepalanchowk.
The temporary shelters were handed over to the families at a formal function organized on Wednesday. The houses have been constructed in four different settlements- Mahadevsthan, Jhallapur, Banghar and Lamsalbesi of ward no. 1 of Mahadevsthan VDC.
Chaudhary Foundation is constructing at least 10,000 transitional houses as per its commitment to support the homeless survivors of the powerful April 25 earthquake.
Speaking at the function, President of Chaudhary Foundation, Binod Chaudhary informed that the CG Shelter program has continued despite various difficulties posed by the country’s current political and economic problems. SETOPATI
