Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Thapa, today held discussion with administrative and security bodies in Pokhara about organizing SAARC ministerial-level meeting here.
DPM Thapa discussed with regional administrator Shanker Prasad Koirala, chiefs of security bodies of western development region, Chief District Officer, Hari Prasad Mainali, local Development Officer, Ram Chandra Tiwari and Executive Officer at the Pokhara Sub-Metropolis, Jhalak Ram Adhikari.
He enquired about the status of available food and accommodation service, cleanliness and security system and directed the bodies concerned to develop the infrastructure that would be fitting for oranizing SAARC ministerial-level meeting. He expressed hope that Pokhara would be successful to arrange all the required infrastructure for the same given that it is a major tourist hub. RSS
