The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has lodged a case against former IGP of Armed Police Force (APF) Basudev Oli along with 6 other police officials at the Special Court today.
The anti-grant body filed case against Oli and other officials for their alleged misappropriation of APF funds by presenting fake bills during procurement of goods. CIAA said that during his tenure, Oli oversaw the submission of fake bills from non-existent transport companies on the pretext of procuring supplies for APF.
CIAA has claimed that Oli misappropriated over Rs 11. 45 million. SETOPATI
