CPN (UML) senior leader and Former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal has opined for making the national consensus government under the leadership of the UML itself.
At a news conference organized by the Nepal Press Chautari, Ilam chapter today, Khanal opined for making national consensus government after participating the Nepali Congress and other parties in the incumbent government.
He added that the basic demands of Tarai were already resolved, therefore, no further agitation will be there in the name of Tarai.
Leader Khanal urged all to help implement the constitution adding that it was issued after a long struggle of the people.
In another context, he said that the recent Central Committee meeting of the party decided to end groupism and follow the collective decision.
Similarly, Khanal, who is also the former Prime Minister, urged all to join hands for national development urging the government to formulate development friendly budgets. RSS
