Journalists’ role utmost for implementing constitution: Minister Pandey

Minister for Industry Som Prasad Pandey expected a constructive role from the journalists to implement the constitution like they had shown while issuing it. 
Minister Pandey who is assigned the responsibility of Ministry of Information and Communications, speaking in a corner meet organized on the occasion of National Journalism Day Main Organising Committee today, said that the new constitution had ensured the rights of free press and therefore media persons should be responsible while disseminating the news. 
Similarly, secretary at the Ministry of Information and Communications Dinesh Thapaliya urged the media persons to work for civil rights and to be centred on the economic prosperity of the country. 
He added that the government was committed to maintain free press. Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Acting Chairperson Anita Bindu stressed on maintaining professorial ethics.
