Police have confiscated 28 stolen water tanks from Naya Basti in Tulsipur, Dang.
Police acting on a tip off raided some houses in the area and made the confiscation. Police move follows complaints of the stealing of water tanks lately.
It has been revealed that the stolen water tanks ranging with the capacity to store 500 to 1000 litres of water are sold for Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 each in the local market.
Meanwhile, police arrested two persons in connection with the incident. Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishna Prasad Prasain said that police were searching for the other suspects. RSS
