NC General Secretary Koirala’s health critical, but stable

 The health condition of Nepali Congress General Secretary Sashank Koirala is critical but stable, said the doctors attending on him at Om Hospital in the capital city. 
General Secretary Koirala was admitted to the Hospital at 8:00 pm Tuesday after he felt difficulty in respiration. But his condition worsened much after 5:00 am Wednesday.
Managing Director at the Hospital, Hari Kishor Shrestha informed the National News Agency (RSS) that his condition deteriorated sharply after the vomit chocked his respiration. He has been suffering from severe pneumonia, Shrestha added.
Similarly, another doctor attending on Koirala, Dr Harish Joshi, said a chest tube was installed owing to the pneumonia and the formation of gas outside his lungs.
As many as 15 doctors including his spouse Dr Supatra Koirala, and Dr Arjun Karki, Dr UN Pathak, Dr Laba Joshi, Dr Shyam Maharjan, Dr Subash Acharya, Dr Mahesh Bhattarai, Dr Rabindra Shrestha, Dr Rawal Pathak, Dr PK Chhetri, and Dr Hari Kishor Shrestha have been attending General Secretary Koirala.
Dr Shrestha further said his heart beat is 80 per minute and blood pressure 100/50, while liver movement is 90 percent. The doctors have suggested that until his critical condition improves, he should be kept here.
However, the family sources said discussion was on whether to take him abroad for treatment. RSS
